These are not quite as light as the thin merino briefs that I previously used, but the merinos didn't last long and tended to give me a wedgie. The Runderwear briefs seem more robust and are super-comfortable, with no seams and great all-round support. I wore them every day on a three-day hike and they stayed fresh enough during that time.
